Answer: Seminars are larger sessions, typically for audiences of 100pax and above. Sharing Sessions are smaller and a lot more interactive. The sessions for Friday 5th March are meant for MOE staff and teachers; it is for teachers to share with one another innovative practices that are carried out in different schools. These sessions are designed with teachers and education professionals in mind. For Saturday 6th March, the sessions are designed to allow members of the public have a glimpse into some of the innovative ideas carried out in the classroom. These sessions are designed with the public in mind.

Answer: Yes, the entire event (Exhibition, Seminars and Sharing Sessions) is free.

Answer: No, you can just walk in to the Exhibition Hall without registering. Bring your family and friends along! The Exhibition is located at Hall 401, Suntec City.

Answer: Yes, only pre-registered participants can attend the sessions. Once your seat is confirmed, an e-ticket will be emailed to you as confirmation. (See REGISTRATION below for more details). Please print and bring along this e-ticket when you attend the sessions you have registered for.

Answer: Unfortunately we have limited spaces, so MOE staff may only register for 1 session (Seminar or Sharing Session) 5th March (Day 1). Members of the public registering for Seminars and Sharing Sessions on 6th March (Day 2) can register for more than 1 session. However, registration for more multiple sessions held at the same time slot is not allowed.

Answer: Yes, you should first create an account, then subsequently add session(s) to your itinerary.

Answer: On the HOME page of this website, click the "SIGN UP" button. You will be asked to complete your account details on the following page. Please note that you need a valid email address to complete your registration.
A confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Once you receive this, proceed to log onto the website and you're done.

Answer: You can select your session and make changes to your itinerary. Announcements will be made if/when presentation materials are available for download.

Answer: Once your seat is confirmed, you will be sent an email notification with an e-ticket. If you are wait-listed, please keep checking on the site and your email to see if your seat has been confirmed.

Answer: To avoid delays getting into the room, we encourage all successful participants to bring their e-tickets with them.

Answer: No. Each account is entitled to 1 seat at 1 session per day. If you wish to attend the same session with another person, please have them register an account and make the same selection as you.

Answer: You may log in to your account and "REMOVE" your currently selected session. Thereafter you will be able to select another session.

Answer: It means that the session is full and you have placed on a list based on first-cum-first serve basis. In the event that someone withdraws, you will move up the list and be notified if you are successful.

Answer: You will be kept on the waitlist as long as you wish. About a month prior to the event, we will remind you that you are waitlisted and suggest that you select another session. If you wish, you can still continue to wait.

Answer: If you wait till the last minute to change to another session, that session might also be full.

Answer: We have noticed that several email servers have labelled our correspondances as "SPAM". Depending on the level of security on your system, these emails may find their way to your SPAM or Junk folders and in severe cases, may even be deleted before it gets to you. Excelfest is hosted on a professional server that meets stringent international standards of electronic communication protocol. If you have an opportunity to speak with your system administrator, kindly inform him that you are expecting correspondences from excelfest.com and he will assist to let our emails go through.
Alternatively please provide an alternate email address in your profile e.g. hotmail, gmail etc. Our correspondences will be sent to these addresses too.

Answer: The web registration team will send out confirmations and e-tickets via email to all successful participants. If the session is full, you will be put into a wait-list queue and will receive an email informing you of this. You can remove yourself from this queue via your profile and book another session.
If you Remember that if you do not receive any confirmation and e-ticket, you don't have a seat at any of our sessions.
